Event re-enactment The National Trust for Scotland recognises that the best way to learn about People in the Past is to meet them!

By working closely with companies such as Alba Education we bring history to life for your pupils at varioys National Trust for Scotland sites.

The actors from Alba Adventure Company work closely with the National Trust for Scotland to bring Scotland's history to life at various National Trust for Scotland sites. The actors from Alba Adventure Company dress in costumes appropriate to the property e.g. clansmen, pirates or Jacobites and provide a great way for Event re-enactmentpeople to see with their own eyes how things were in days gone by.

It may also be possible for children to participate in various Living History events at National Trust properties - please contact the appropriate Property Manager for further details.

At many Trust properties pupils benefit from working with live interpreters. Bannockburn, Culloden and Falkland Palace all have Living History programmes but many other properties also offer a chance to meet characters from the past.
