The National Trust for Scotland is a charity; we depend on the support of our membership to continue our conservation work. By joining the Trust you will help to save the best of Scotland's heritage for future generations to enjoy and you will also be able to take advantage of many other benefits:

  • Enjoy a great day out, as often as you like, with free admission to NTS properties throughout Scotland, National Trust properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and others worldwide

  • Receive our colour magazine, packed with news and features, sent direct to you three times each year

  • Take the opportunity to join a Members' Centre. There are 32 support groups in Scotland, including one in London, which provide enormous help for the Trust through organising fundraising events, providing guides at properties and running two shops.

    Each group has a varied programme of talks and outings for everyone to enjoy.

Current membership categories and subscription rates from 1 March 2004:

  • Member: £33.00 (or more) per annum

  • Single Family: £40.00 (or more) per annum

  • Family: £54.00 (or more) per annum - Includes two adults at one address (and any of their children or grandchildren under 18)

  • Life: £792.00 (or more) (includes cardholder's children or grandchildren under 18)

  • Life Double: £990.00 (or more) (includes cardholder's children or grandchildren under 18)

  • 25 or under: £12.00 (or more) per annum

  • Concessions:
    Over 60s may join at a reduced rate:
    • Senior: £25.00
    • Joint Senior £40.00 or Life Senior £600.00
    • Life Double
    • Senior: £750.00
