Getting readyThe National Trust for Scotland also runs 5 local conservation volunteer groups based in Glasgow, Grampian, Highland, Lothian and Tayside. These groups carry out practical conservation work on weekend projects on Trust properties throughout Scotland. All weekend projects are free, with food, accommodation and transport provided. No experience is needed but you should be over 16, reasonably fit and enjoy working outdoors.
